How I can help

I work with adults experiencing a range of anxiety-related difficulties, as well as challenges with self-esteem, perfectionism, and feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns.

Therapy offers a space to begin understanding what’s been going on, where these patterns may come from, and how to move forward in a way that feels more manageable and aligned with who you are.

Anxiety

You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking, or feeling on edge. Anxiety can make it difficult to relax, switch off, or feel present in your day-to-day life.

OCD and intrusive thoughts

Unwanted thoughts can feel distressing and difficult to manage, often leading to repetitive behaviours or mental rituals. This can become exhausting and impact your confidence and sense of control.

Health anxiety

You may find yourself frequently checking your body, researching symptoms, or seeking reassurance. Despite this, the anxiety often persists and can take over your thinking.

Social anxiety

You might feel overly aware of how you come across to others, worrying about being judged or saying the wrong thing. This can lead to avoidance or intense self-consciousness in social situations.

Low self-esteem

You may be highly self-critical, struggle to recognise your strengths, or feel that you’re not good enough. This can affect many areas of your life, including relationships and work.

Perfectionism

You might feel pressure to get things exactly right, set very high standards for yourself, or struggle with fear of failure. This can lead to burnout and constant dissatisfaction.

Cultural identity and family pressure

You may feel pulled between different expectations, navigating cultural values, family roles, and your own needs. This can bring up guilt, conflict, or a sense of not fully belonging.

How therapy can help

Therapy provides a space to slow things down and begin to understand the patterns that may be maintaining your difficulties.

Together, we can explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact, and work towards developing new ways of responding that feel more manageable, balanced, and sustainable.

If you’re considering therapy, you’re welcome to book a free introductory call to explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
