About Hansi
I’m Hansi, a BABCP-registered Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting people with anxiety and related difficulties.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or unsure why things feel so difficult despite trying to cope. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can begin to make sense of what’s been going on and explore a different way forward.
I work with clients online across the UK and offer in-person sessions in Bishop’s Stortford.
My background
I have worked across a range of settings, supporting individuals with a variety of anxiety and mood-related difficulties. Over time, I have developed particular experience in working with anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, and I aim to tailor the work to each individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
Areas of focus
I have a particular interest in working with:
Self-esteem and self-worth
Perfectionism
Cultural and identity-related experiences
Anxiety disorders, including OCD and health anxiety
How I work
My style is calm, collaborative, and thoughtful. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences without judgement, and where we can begin to understand the patterns that may be maintaining your difficulties.
Together, we will work at a pace that feels manageable, building awareness, developing new perspectives, and identifying practical ways forward.
I also have a particular interest in working with clients navigating cultural identity, family expectations, and the pressures that can come with balancing different roles and values.
